What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is a strict £1,000 ex VAT.

How do I become a Stock Room Group customer?

You can call in or contact our reception to join instantly as a payment on order customer, if you require terms then our accounts department would be happy to help during office hours Mon-Friday.

Are there extra shipping charges for bulky goods?

We do reserve the right to charge a delivery fee on certain orders if the order is comprised solely of bulky/heavy items such as drinks or kitchen/toilet rolls. You will be contacted prior to shipment.

Can you deliver my goods?

We have a fleet of trucks to deliver your order within our Delivery Matrix. This is a set delivery schedule so please always ensure your order is placed 48 hours in advance of your delivery slot or you risk the order being moved to the next available slot.

If your delivery address falls outside of our Delivery Matrix then we can send your order via a third-party carrier, please contact our Transport department to arrange this.

How much do I need to spend for free UK delivery?

All UK mainland orders over £600 ex-VAT are eligible for free delivery. You will need to spend £1,000 ex-VAT for free delivery to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

How do I make payment?

You can pay for your order by bank payment (BACS). We accept all major debit and credit cards (2% charge on credit cards and all cards not UK registered). We will process and dispatch your order once we have received payment.

Do you ship goods to the EU and abroad?

Yes. For international orders, we recommend that you arrange your own freight forwarder or shipping agent. If you still require assistance with shipping, we can offer a quote.

What is the maximum limit allowed to load in containers?

The maximum weight and volume for container sizes are approximately as follows:

20ft container - Weight: 26000 kgs, Volume: 30 CBM
40ft HC container - Weight: 26000 kgs, Volume: 70 CBM
20 Reefer container - Weight: 26000 kgs, Volume: 26 CBM
40ft Reefer container - Weight: 26000 kgs, Volume: 62 CBM

Can you load goods without pallets?

Yes, we can load goods as requested: palletised, hand-balled or a mix of both. Please specify which you would prefer so that we can load accordingly.

What documentation can you provide?

We provide all standard shipment documents such as the Invoice, Packing List and Bill of Lading. Depending on the destination of goods, we can also supply the Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Free Sale, Health Certificate and EUR 1. We are also able to authorise documents from the relevant Chamber of Commerce if required. When placing your order, please specify what documents you require.

Can you provide images, barcode and pallet logistics for products?

This information can be provided upon request.

What are the transit time for required ports and container prices?

The transit time and container prices for each destination vary. Please request this information from your Account Manager.

Can your provide FOB or CIF prices?

Yes CIF and FOB prices can be quoted upon request. Please quote the destination to receive a price.

What is the lead time for export goods?

General lead time for most suppliers are 7 - 10 working days, however this may vary depending on the item. Confectionery items usually have a longer time of around 3 - 4 weeks. Lead time for goods can be provided prior to confirming your order.

Do you provide goods by air freight also?

Yes, we also provide goods by air freight. Please send across your enquiry from the website and email us on sales@stockroomgroup.com specifying that you require the goods by air freight.

Do you only stock items that are of UK origin?

We offer products from the UK as well as other country origins. If you cannot see your product of interest on our website, please email us your requirements on sales@stockroomgroup.com.

Do you stock any short-dated goods?

We regularly have short dated items on promotion. Please subscribe to our mailing list and we can keep you updated on these promotions.

What shelf life do the products generally have?

As we usually buy directly from the manufacturers we are able to retain much of the manufacturer’s original shelf life. For products currently in our warehouse, we can provide you with exact expiry dates.

What are your payment terms?

Our payment terms are 30% deposit on confirmation of order and 70% balance prior to collection/on scanned copy of BL.

What is your minimum order requirement?

If you are based in UK/Europe, minimum order requirement is £1000 ex VAT. If you are based out of Europe, the minimum requirement is 1x20ft Container or £3000 if you are willing to take goods by air freight.

I am new to UK products and do not know about the products but would like to start buying. Please confirm how I can start?

You can email us your details on sales@stockroomgroup.com and we will send you our full product list with the list of fast moving products for your market. If you find anything of your interest we will be more than happy to assist you with the best prices.

Are there any stocks that cannot be exported?

Some countries have import restrictions on certain goods, they may also require additional documentation, health certificates etc. (We can supply these documents).

Please check prior to ordering if your country has any import restrictions or additional documentation requirements.

Can I be invoiced VAT exempt?

We can invoice VAT exempt however we require your local VAT number and proof of shipping i.e. copy of CMR note. Signed delivery note.
